“Born and raised in Virginia, I relocated to Charlotte to attend law school. I quickly felt at home and knew I wanted to start my career in this city. My decision to practice family law was motivated by my personal experience as a child of divorce and a desire to make a positive impact in the community. During my parents’ divorce, I was appointed a guardian ad litem to represent my rights in court. I grew to appreciate and admire the attorney and found comfort in knowing my best interests would be protected. Years later, I am grateful and humbled to now have an opportunity to be an advocate and resource for others confronting a range of emotions and questions surrounding their family and future.
Now, as a husband and a father, I am able to empathize with my clients because I understand the importance of what they are going through. The insight I gained from challenges my own family went through along with my legal knowledge, allows me to connect on a personal level that promotes trust, confidence and open communication.”
